For the past 4 years of my life, I was a victim of panic disorder/agoraphobia/ depression,
I was "diagnosed" with every mental illness under the sun. I was in the emergency room every other night with feelings of doom, I thought every day was my last. I was never one for medication, and I'm still not to this day, however I just couldn't live my life anymore the way I was and I gave in to see a psychiatrist. Without hesitation the psychiatrist was quick to whip out that prescription pad and write out careless medications that he "thought" would be best for me. After only a week on medication, I noticed it had only worsened my anxiety with excessive worrying and fears of side effects, and future addictions/withdrawals to the medication, I said to myself, "There must be something better out there, something natural." I googled natural relief of anxiety, and there it was in bold blue capital letters...REIKI. I read up on it and immediately looked into a healing center nearby which lead me to the sweetest person I've ever met – Barbara Tierney. She and her skills have changed me completely. Not only is she a wonderful woman but she is also an amazing person that goes above and beyond what she has to do. I am completely happy again, full of energy, and well.
